Things which made me happy at the hardware store today

This large "container flower garden" made me so happy today. It looked so lovely, although that could be because today was lovely all around with the cool weather and the monochromatic clouds. I think one could consider them beautiful on their own merits, however. I believe that next Spring, I'll have to buy one of those large containers and plant a whole variety of pretty flowers in it. Perhaps I'll begin my research today for what flowers will be best for the Spring. I wonder if I should choose ones which will die out after Spring so I'll be forced to plant new and differently-colored ones for Summer and so on and so on! I think that should be the plan!













I saw this beautiful puppy sitting outside the Ace in her daddy's old blue truck. She just fit so well in that truck and looked JUST RIGHT, so I had to snap a photo! Isn't she adorable? She wins "Doggie of the Day" award today for sure!
